		<description>Yeah it&#039;s understandable - however a simplified 3D API would still be useful - even something as simple as how WPF is presented would be good.

Although I do understand the desires to have something that can be implemented relatively easily on other platforms too.</description>

		<description>I spoke to Microsoft directly about this yesterday.  The want Silverlight cross platform and also they would only ever support D3D and as the other platforms do not support D3D MS does not want to compromise the total platform compatibility of Silverlight.</description>
